General Sales conditions

Following general terms and conditions of sales apply to all orders made using our website They govern contractual relations between company in charge of online shop and their customers. Customers of, by virtue of ordering online, are deemed to have accepted with uncontional acceptance these terms and conditions of sale, and the company also keeps right to modify the terms and conditions at any time. Applicable terms will be those in effect on website at the time of customer’s order.


If you would like to place an order, first you must identify yourself. For this purpose, you should complete the identification form which is at your disposal according to instructions provided.

Contract and legal capacity

By placing an order online, customer acknowledges he has been informed that his agreement to these general terms and conditions does not requires his written signature. In accordance with article 1341 of French Civil Law, any order completed by “double clicking” constitutes an irrevocable acceptance which cannot be reversed except in the limited circumstances foreseen in these terms, such as the “right of cancellation” and “availability”. The “double click”, combined with procedures for verification, non-revocation and protection of validity of messages, constitutes an electronic signature. This signature has value of a written signature between parties to contract. Order confirmation is sent to the customer by email.
By placing an order, customer declares that he has legal capacity to agree to terms and conditions of sale.

Information provided by customer

Customer must check that information provided concerning his delivery address is complete and correct. Montres OJ company will not be held responsible by customer errors and their consequences, such as a delay or error in delivery. All costs associated with order redirecting in such cases will be Customer responsibility.

Cancellation right

Bespoke products are not concerned by this right (Optional Watchbands or personalized Watch)
For general public: as stated in article L.121-16 and following articles of French Consumer Code, customer has 14 working days from date of delivery to return any article which is not satisfactory for exchange or refund without penalty. Re-expedition costs will be charged to customer. All returns should be reported in advance to Customer Service department by emailing

All goods will be returned in their original condition and packaging, suitable for resale. An exchange or refund will not be provided for any goods which are damaged or incomplete, or for which original packaging is damaged or missing. For returns, merchandise is shipped at risk of customer (insurance is recommended). Refunds will be made within one month upon receipt of the goods (this maximum time is required for technical verification). Refunds will be made by cheque or bank transfer.


Montres OJ, as owner of website, reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but will apply prices which are indicated at the time of the order, subject to availability on that date.
Prices shown on website are stated in euros and include all EEC taxes, delivery costs included for European countries.
Outside European Union an additional transportation cost is required. Depending on legislation, customs duties and taxes may be claimable to customer from country of delivery tax department.


Two methods are available for customer to pay his order: by immediate credit card payment on website, Paypal or by bank transfer (transfer with an IBAN code) through our mail order department. Orders paid by transfer will not be processed until funds receipt. Availability and shipping times should be recalculated on this date.

The company reserves the right to refuse an order or make delivery if we judge that proof of customer’s identification and home address are insufficient to establish accuracy information related to payment and delivery.

Invoicing and Delivery

A detailed invoice will be sent to the customer in his package.

Goods will be delivered to address indicated by the customer on order form. It is customer’s responsibility to receive delivery and to ensure that delivery is correct and to check for freight damage in presence of deliverer.

Any anomaly in the delivery (damaged package, broken articles, etc.) must in all cases be indicated on the carrier’s delivery slip in the form of detailed written réservations.

Transfer of ownership

All goods remain the full and unqualified property of Montres OJ until payment has been received in full for all amounts, including charges and taxes, which are due from the customer in connection with his order. However, the customer is responsible for risk of loss, theft or destruction during the period from the delivery date to the date on which ownership is transferred. Only the original buyer of this property is covered by the provisions of these general terms and conditions of sale.


Our guarantee covers all manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. Watch delivered to you has successfully passed many very strict tests of quality. In case the watch stops or malfunctions during 2 year guarantee period, it will be repaired free of charge. We guarantee article sold against any hidden defect which renders it unusable
Guarantee nonetheless does not apply in certain cases, damage caused to exterior components or to the movement which result from anormal utilisation by :

– Striking or accidentally dropping the watch
– Negligent or careless handling (broken or scratched face, scratched case, twisted stem)
– Immersion in or contact with corrosives (bleach, saltwater, etc.)
– Immersion of the watch
– Prolonged exposure to the sun
– Opening, repair or maintenance by a person who is not competent
– Furthermore, this guarantee does not cover normal wear to leather watchstraps
it is a mechanical watch, we advise you to have it checked by a qualified watchmaker at least once every 2 years.

For such customers returns, merchandise travels at cost and risk of the sender (insurance is recommended); the goods should be packaged appropriately.
For manufacturers defects, return fees to Customer will be supported by Montres OJ.

Our company guarantees to not communicate personal information provided by customer to any third party.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by French law. Contractual information is presented in French and the goods offered for sale comply with French regulations. Foreign customers should verify their rights with local authorities for use of the goods which they envisage to buy. In case of disputes or complaints, customer should first contact Montres OJ in order to reach an amicable agreement. If this is not possible, litigation will take place in defendant registered address.
